STAGEWAR is a relentless Live-band from Frankfurt am Main, Germany, that has never given up on following their dreams even under the most miserable of circumstances. The German Metal band that was founded in 2003 by then sixteen-year-old Kimon Roggenbuck and Dominik Dezius has played more than 200 live shows and gained underground fame throughout Europe and beyond. The band describes its musical style as straight forward Thrash Metal with a healthy amount of Rock n´ Roll.
In over twenty years of existence STAGEWAR has collected plenty of live experience, supporting bands like HATESPHERE, ARTILLERY, PAUL DiANNO, ELUVEITIE, GAMMA BOMB and many more. STAGEWAR is the band you would have loved to see live back in the day when metal was in its prime. An energetic show with songs that give you the feeling of nostalgia without feeling like a grandpa. Their songs stick to your ears like chewing gum on your shoes. This band is honest, without disguise or make-up. Just true to the bone.
After publishing four demos, music videos and playing relentlessly, STAGEWAR published their debut album -LIVING ON TH(R)ASH- in late 2011. Two European tours followed this release and were organised and executed autonomously.
In Autumn 2016 STAGEWAR released their second album -KILLING FAST- via Bellaphon/Bacillus Records. It was again celebrated by the Metal community and achieved consistently positive reviews and the album was followed up by the notorious -KILLING FAST- tour. So far so good!
STAGEWAR took it up a notch again in 2021 with the release of their third LP called “DANGER TO OURSELVES” and also worked hard on the release of their music videos.
The latest EP “INTERLUDE TO SELF-DESTRUCTION” was released in 2023. It was released as 10” vinyl, limited to 300 copies.
STAGEWAR is currently preparing their fourth LP, which is scheduled to be released in 2025.
The song “What’s wrong with the world today?“ questions the responsibility that people take for their actions. It’s always easier not to take responsibility and there are so many destructions in life that people perfected repression. The result is war and violence…
